Natural Light Orlando Newborn Photography | Studio Visit

Happy Monday!! Looking for a positive way to start your week? How about a new spin on things coming in threes!

Perfect Light: When I arrived at the studio there was gorgeous light blasting through our antique french doors. Sometimes you just know the light is going to be on another level! As many of you natural light photographers know, you can be at the mercy of mother nature. It is a cool challenge to make any light work depending on what our crazy awesome FL weather can bring.

Sleepy Baby: Of course we have our tricks for making newborn sleepy but sometimes you can just tell that they are going to be super sleepy the whole time. I am a bit superstitions so... of course, you never mention that until the END of the session!

Awesome Big Sister: Capturing sibling portraits at the newborn stage is definitely a once in a lifetime thing. Most of the time, the siblings are fresh to the idea of this cute little person in the house...which ensures they are ready to love on their new brother/sister. This super star big sister sat down and had smiles and love to share from start to finish. {Check out the series of 3 below of their love...melts my heart}

Have a great Monday!

xoxo

Precious little peanut-Orlando Newborn Photographer

Well it is hard to believe, but this was one of my first newborn sessions after having my daughter and wow was it different. I have always loved my little newborns I have photographed, but there was something different about this session...he melted my heart from start to finish.

Let's just say I have become a bit of a sap after having my daughter and have fallen even more in love with a being a newborn photographer; 10 fold!! Looking back on things I realize I am finally doing what I have always wanted to do; help others. Knowing how much our daughter's newborn photographs mean to me it is such an honor to know that I get to help my client's remember those tiny little toes and that button nose.

I feel eternally blessed to have such wonderful clients, that trust me with these very special once in a lifetime memories. Please enjoy this precious little family!

My wish for you... {Orlando Newborn Photographer}

Dear Willow,

Mommy loves you more and more with each passing day. I didn’t really think it was possible to love you so much. The past month did not seem to fly by like your first month in this world. With our entire car buying adventures complete, I have had so many more hours to just sit and stare at you while you sleep. I know, it might sound a bit goofy, but when you are asleep I just want to eat those little cheeks and nibble on your nose! From the very beginning, you have dreams and nightmares that awake you in little screams. Your little screams, make my heart hurt for you, I just want to comfort and protect you. I am very curious to know what it is that makes you smile while you sleep.

“You are so beautiful. You are so cute. You are so pretty.” Anytime your daddy or I say those words to you, you smile from ear to ear. It makes me happy to see you so happy. I promise to protect you from the evils of the world and to keep you always close to my heart whether you are near or far.

You are starting to discover more and more about yourself. Your hands are your favorite thing, it is so cute to watch you try and stick your long fingers in your mouth. Poor thing, you have choked yourself once or twice with them.

You are a momma’s girl, is what everyone keeps telling me. Secret is, I love that. I love that sometimes you simply just want mommy to hold you. I love when I come home;I am greeted with a big smile from you. I think I enjoy cuddling with you, just as much as you do. Resting my face against your soft little cheeks while you sleep, is pure heaven.

I feel so blessed that each day is just the perfect amount of time. Yes, of course you are getting big so fast, but I feel like each day is just the right amount of time, to give you lots and lots of love!

When a baby is brought into this world, we all have expectations for what they can be. Well of course, we have a few suggestions: a little athlete of some sort, playing ball with your big sister Lily, becoming the best at whatever you choose for this life. But most of all, I want for you, sweet little girl is be happy and to know you will always have a safe and loving place in your mommy and daddy’s arms.

It is my wish that you are able to feel the never ending love that I have for you. I look forward to the days of mommy daughter dates, whatever you want to do, we shall. But for now I will enjoy each and every smile.

Mommy loves you so much

Sweet Little Lips, Tiny Little Toes & the Fresh Smell of New Baby {Windermere Newborn Photographer}

Sweet little lips, tiny little toes and fresh smell of new baby; just a few of the reasons why photography is my calling, my job, my life. For years, I always said "I want to help people. I want to make a difference in the world." So while in college studying finance, I began that quest to help others. First it was life guarding, then a sprinkle of selling at the local mall, teaching crossed my mind for a brief moment followed by the biggest undertaking of all: Selling brand new homes in Charlotte. I thought wow, this is it, I am helping people take the biggest step in their lives! From the young newlywed couple, to the growing number of NASCAR families; I was helping them create new memories.

Or so I thought...

I am not sure what the moment was or when it finally clicked, but I realized throughout my years in high school and 3 years of college there was one thing that was constant...my face behind a camera! Photography went from that thing I drove people crazy about, "lets take another picture" to the thing that made everyday better than the one before.

It wasn't until recently, when I realized I was finally doing the one thing I have been looking to accomplish since venturing out into the world. I was finally helping people:

Helping people remember those sweet little lips & tiny little toes!

Helping people create lasting memories for generations to come!

I urge you to grab your camera and take at least 1 picture of your kiddos each day. You won't regret it, I promise!

Would love to know the one memory you wished you had a picture of!

P.S. Make Sure to stop by tomorrow for the weekly edition of Favorites!
