Summer Gardens -Styled Wedding | Orlando Wedding Photographer

The inspiration for our "Summer Gardens" styled shoot was an amazing collaboration between myself and my dear friend, Jess. We work exclusively together when photographing weddings and wanted to create an inspiring evening of organic beauty & love.

It was a hot summery cloudy evening {not exactly what we had planned for our sunset shoot, but hey it wasn't raining}! To our surprise we should have worn knee high rain boots, the field had turned into a swamp. And might I add, the mosquitos were HUGE, the largest I have ever seen!!! Okay, now that you know the ugly behind our shoot, let's talk about the good: our amazing couple & beautiful details.

The love between this couple was just magical with cute little whispers and sweet kisses. What was so special about this evening was they were going to be married in less than two months. So this was a fun little "preview" of their actual day, which Jess would capture in an intimate venue located outside of Winter Springs.

Jars, jars and more jars: can proudly say they all came from my personal collection. Yes, I may have a problem; I keep trying to fill them with office supplies in hopes that I don't have an excess of empty jars, sitting around. So if you need to borrow a few for your wedding, I would be happy to share.

My favorite detail was the cake, absolutely in love with the ruffle style cake. If  we ever do a vow renewal, that would be my first choice. Just love the organized "mess" that the ruffles create on the cake, beautiful symbolism of the ups and downs of love.

Hope you enjoy the day as much as we did! Can't wait to start planning for the workshop styled shoot.

Kelly & James {Embassy Suites Downtown Orlando Wedding}

A beautiful bride, a dashing groom and sweet little flowers girls… it was bound to be a wonderful wedding!  Kelly and I, had met in passing, while photographing her nieces (the sweet flower girls) but I had not had the privilege of truly getting to know her. She is such a sweet, genuine woman with a giant heart!

The word “again” was said over and over humorously, throughout the day. The couple had actually been married more than a year, on their April 27th, 2013 wedding day. Military life makes you do things a bit different, sometimes.  For Kelly & James, it was an opportunity to celebrate their love for each other in a fun way, the second time around. Their vows were filled with tears, laughter and tears of joy as they cracked jokes with each other. My favorite was Kelly promising James she would start his car once a week, when he is away on deployments. Now that is a great wife!

Kelly & James had turned the beautiful Embassy Suites ballroom into a romantic stroll through Paris, with strings of lights above the dance floor and miniature Eiffel Towers on the tables.  Not sure if it was their romantic reception, but I could feel the love the guest had for this amazing couple. They are so blessed to have such wonderful friends and family to help them celebrate their special day, AGAIN!

Congratulations again and best of luck with your upcoming journeys!

Jada and Jeremy | Married Part 1 {Orlando Modern Wedding Photographer}

These two were such a pleasure to work with, from their engagement session to their wedding. The wedding was picture perfect, from the overall decor provided by Save the Date, LLC, to the bride's dress and last but definitely not least the cakes provide by the fabulous Anna Cakes! It was a very typical July day in Central Florida, hot with an 80% chance of rain. Lucky enough for the happy couple it never rained!

Maison and Jardin was the perfect backdrop for this large elegant affair, from the moment you drive in, to the grand entrance; STUNNING. The wedding was a blast, they even had a belly dancer! Look out for part two of their wedding, full of reception photographs, including adorable photographs of the kiddos dancing with the belly dancer!!

Hope you had a fabulous European honeymoon! Enjoy your newly married life!!
