Sweet little lips, tiny little toes and fresh smell of new baby; just a few of the reasons why photography is my calling, my job, my life. For years, I always said "I want to help people. I want to make a difference in the world." So while in college studying finance, I began that quest to help others. First it was life guarding, then a sprinkle of selling at the local mall, teaching crossed my mind for a brief moment followed by the biggest undertaking of all: Selling brand new homes in Charlotte. I thought wow, this is it, I am helping people take the biggest step in their lives! From the young newlywed couple, to the growing number of NASCAR families; I was helping them create new memories.
Or so I thought...
I am not sure what the moment was or when it finally clicked, but I realized throughout my years in high school and 3 years of college there was one thing that was constant...my face behind a camera! Photography went from that thing I drove people crazy about, "lets take another picture" to the thing that made everyday better than the one before.
It wasn't until recently, when I realized I was finally doing the one thing I have been looking to accomplish since venturing out into the world. I was finally helping people:
Helping people remember those sweet little lips & tiny little toes!
Helping people create lasting memories for generations to come!
I urge you to grab your camera and take at least 1 picture of your kiddos each day. You won't regret it, I promise!
Would love to know the one memory you wished you had a picture of!
